Destiny Etiko Slams N100m Law Suit Against Queeneth Hilbert Over Boyfriend Snatching Allegations

Nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko, has taken a bold legal stance by filing a petition demanding N100 million in damages against fellow actress Queeneth Hilbert, after the latter accused her of snatching boyfriends of several colleagues in the entertainment industry.
According to source, Hilbert raised the alarm on social media, alleging that Etiko had stolen her wealthy boyfriend, along with the partners of other actresses. The claims quickly gained traction, prompting Etiko to take immediate action through her legal team.
In a cease-and-desist letter issued on Saturday, Etiko’s lawyers, Chisom Onugah and C.C. Nwabundo, provided a clear ultimatum for Queeneth Hilbert: retract the defamatory statements within 48 hours and issue a public apology. If Hilbert fails to comply, Etiko’s legal team has threatened to pursue further legal recourse, which includes the demand for a N100 million compensation for damages to Etiko’s reputation.
Sharing the cease-and-desist letter on her official Instagram page, Etiko vehemently denied the allegations. She accused Queeneth Hilbert of making the unfounded claims in an attempt to gain material benefits at her expense.
Etiko’s statement read, “I categorically deny all these false accusations. Queeneth’s claims are not only baseless, but they are also part of a clear attempt to tarnish my image for her own selfish reasons. I will not sit idly by while someone seeks to damage my name for personal gain.”
This legal action has sent a strong message to those who may seek to defame public figures without consequences.
