In a startling revelation, popular Nigerian socialite Mary Gold has addressed the ongoing marital crisis between content creator Ijoba Lande and his wife, Dara. Speaking out amid the drama surrounding the couple’s troubled relationship, Mary Gold has shared details of an incident involving Nollywood actor Baba Tee and Lande’s wife, Dara, which has sparked widespread controversy.
The drama began when Ijoba Lande publicly accused his wife of infidelity, claiming she had engaged in extramarital affairs with several of his colleagues in the entertainment industry, including Baba Tee. In a social media interview posted on both Instagram and YouTube, Lande named Mary Gold as the person who introduced his wife to the actor and other men, further fueling suspicions of betrayal.
In a live TikTok session, Mary Gold decided to address the allegations head-on. She admitted to introducing Dara to Baba Tee but claimed that the situation had spiraled out of her control. According to Mary Gold, when she arrived at Baba Tee’s house with Dara, the two women decided to play a game of Truth or Dare. It was during this game that Dara allegedly dared Baba Tee to engage in a sexual encounter, a challenge he ultimately accepted.
“In fairness to Baba Tee, I did not tell him that I was bringing a friend (Dara) along when I visited his house,” Mary Gold explained. “When we got there, both of them started playing Truth or Dare, and it was Dara who told Baba Tee, ‘I dare you to have sex with me.’ She kept insisting that the game be made romantic.”
Mary Gold went on to explain that while she had been in the kitchen, listening to music, and later fell asleep, she left Dara and Baba Tee alone in the living room. She insisted that she did not orchestrate or plan for anything to happen between them, but admitted she had made a mistake by bringing Dara to Baba Tee’s house without informing her husband, Lande.
“I accept that I made a mistake by taking her to Baba Tee’s house without Lande’s knowledge, but I never intended for them to have sex. Right now, Baba Tee has blocked me. People should stop blaming me for everything that went wrong,” Mary Gold stated.
The revelations have added fuel to the already explosive drama surrounding Lande’s marriage. Dara, who has been accused of infidelity, has yet to address the claims publicly, and Lande’s accusations against his wife continue to stir conversations across social media platforms.
