Singer Dare Art Alade and Wife’s Vehicle Bursts Into Flames on Third Mainland Bridge, Lagos
Nigerian singer Dare Art Alade and his wife, entrepreneur Deola Art Alade, are counting their blessings after a terrifying ordeal on Lagos’ Third Mainland Bridge, where their vehicle suddenly caught fire and was engulfed in flames.
The incident occurred around 4 p.m., and according to a joint statement shared on their Instagram pages, the car was completely destroyed. Yet, miraculously, no lives were lost.
“It was a shocking and painful experience, but we’re incredibly grateful that the driver made it out safely. No lives were lost, and that’s what truly matters,” the couple wrote.
The emotional post was more than just a recounting of events — it was a moment of deep reflection. The Art Alades expressed immense gratitude for life, highlighting the fragile and fleeting nature of material possessions.
“Things can be replaced. Lives cannot,” they emphasized. “We give thanks in all things. THANK YOU JESUS!!!”
Far from seeking sympathy, Dare and Deola said their aim in sharing the experience was to offer encouragement to anyone grappling with sudden loss. Their message was one of hope, resilience, and faith.

The couple also extended heartfelt thanks to the strangers who stopped to help in the midst of the chaos, calling their kindness a silver lining in a harrowing moment.
What could have ended in tragedy became a powerful reminder of life’s true treasures — safety, survival, and the kindness of others.
