“It all started the day before his birthday and my birthday because we are birthday mates,” she recounted. “We were at his house in Ikot Ekpene, then moved to his home in Uyo. As he held my hands, he took me from room to room, showing me the beautiful interiors. Then he asked, ‘Do you like my house?’ I said, ‘Of course, Sir, every room is beautiful, beautiful taste.’ Then he said, ‘Now that you are a senator, I will create time for us to come and create quality moments here. You will enjoy it.’ At that point, I just pulled away because I didn’t understand what he meant.”
Her allegation comes amid rising tensions in the Senate, following her dramatic removal from the chamber last Thursday at Akpabio’s orders.
