Aubrey O’Day Blasts Diddy for Involving Children in Courtroom During Graphic Trial Testimonies
By Parrot Newspaper Investigative Desk
As disturbing testimonies continue to emerge in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal trial in New York City, one of his former protégés, Aubrey O’Day, is raising tough questions—not just about the allegations, but about the presence of his children in the courtroom.
O’Day, 41, who rose to fame as a member of the girl group Danity Kane under Combs’ Bad Boy Records label, condemned her former mentor in a candid interview on the Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes Present podcast. Her criticism focuses not only on the content of the trial—which involves charges of racketeering and sexual trafficking—but also on what she views as Combs’ deliberate decision to place his children in the middle of a media and legal storm.
“I don’t know any father who would want their children to sit through testimony describing their father’s sexual preferences—testimonies involving urination, bodily fluids, and other graphic acts,” O’Day said, clearly emotional. “Would you want your children to hear that?”
According to court reports, six of Combs’ seven children—Quincy (33), Justin (31), Christian (27), Chance (19), and 18-year-old twins Jessie and D’Lila—have been attending court proceedings, some of which contain graphic sexual details. His youngest, a toddler named Love, is not present.
O’Day characterized their presence as more than a show of familial support. She called it a calculated move, a visual strategy to sway the jury’s perception of Combs.
“It’s concerning. The optics of them being there—praying with him, walking in with women who appear to support him—it’s a strong play for the defense,” she said. “It feels like ‘Daddy needs you in court because Daddy needs the jury to see a devoted family, regardless of what you’re forced to hear.’”
Her comments come after particularly explicit testimony from a male escort who claimed Combs paid him to have sex with Cassie Ventura, Combs’ former girlfriend, while the music mogul allegedly watched and pleasured himself. According to observers, three of Combs’ children left the courtroom during the testimony, visibly shaken.
O’Day did not hold back, accusing Combs of exhibiting the same manipulative behaviors toward his family as he’s been accused of inflicting on alleged victims.
“It’s the same narcissism, the same coercive control,” she said. “What Diddy wants comes first—his image, his optics, even at the expense of his children’s emotional wellbeing.”
The Bad Boy mogul, 55, has denied all allegations against him, but the trial has already drawn widespread media scrutiny and public backlash.
As the legal battle unfolds, O’Day’s pointed accusations offer a sobering reminder: amid the lurid headlines and courtroom drama, real families are being drawn into a web of trauma—whether by choice, manipulation, or loyalty.
