In a significant move aimed at easing the financial burden on Nigerians ahead of Ramadan, Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a N65 reduction in the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), bringing it down from N890 to N825 per litre. The new price takes effect from February 27, 2025.
The company stated that the adjustment aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic recovery policy and is part of efforts to make life more affordable for the populace.

Retail prices at partner outlets will vary across regions. In Lagos, MRS Holdings stations will sell petrol at N860 per litre, with prices ranging from N870 to N890 in other regions. AP (Ardova Petroleum) and Heyden stations will sell at slightly higher rates, starting at N865 in Lagos.
This marks the second price reduction in February, following a previous N60 cut earlier in the month. The company assured Nigerians of a steady fuel supply to meet domestic demands and boost foreign exchange through exports.
