Residents of Yagba communities are living in terror after armed hoodlums escalated their brutality, leaving victims mutilated and fighting for their lives.
A recent attack left one Adewale and another unidentified victim—too critically injured to be recognized—hospitalized in Egbe. Shockingly, the unknown victim was released by the assailants only after having his hands chopped off.
This horrific act mirrors the fate of a driver who suffered the same brutality weeks earlier. He remains hospitalized in Egbe, struggling to recover from his injuries.
“We no longer sleep with our eyes closed. These criminals have taken cruelty to a new level,” said Babajide, a fearful Egbe resident who requested anonymity for safety reasons.
With each attack, panic spreads deeper through Yagba, leaving locals desperate for security and justice.
