Oscar-Winning Actor Jared Leto Faces Multiple Allegations of Sexual Misconduct

LOS ANGELES — Nine women have come forward with disturbing allegations against Oscar-winning actor and musician Jared Leto, accusing the 53-year-old star of engaging in predatory, inappropriate, and at times terrifying behavior over the years. The explosive claims, detailed in a bombshell report by Air Mail on Saturday, June 7, include allegations of sexual misconduct, aggressive advances, and inappropriate interactions with underage girls.
Teenagers Targeted, Late-Night Calls, and Unwanted Advances
One woman, who was just 16 in 2006, recounted to Air Mail how Leto approached her outside a Los Angeles café where he was seated with then-19-year-old actress Ashley Olsen. “He grabbed my arm,” she said. “We had a quick conversation, and he got my number.” Days later, she claims, Leto began calling her in the early hours of the morning—sometimes as late as 3 a.m.—with increasingly sexual questions.
“He’d ask things like, ‘Have you ever had a boyfriend? Have you ever sucked a dick?’” she told the outlet. Despite her refusal to attend a party at his home—citing that she didn’t even have a driver’s license—she says the calls persisted.
Model Laura La Rue shared a similar story, alleging that Leto, then 36, fixated on her at a Beverly Hills event when she was just 16. After exchanging emails, she visited his home in 2009, where she claims he engaged in a flirtatious “game” of leaning in and pulling away. Leto’s representatives denied any inappropriate conduct, stating that La Rue later applied to work as his assistant, which they claim “underscores the absence of anything improper.”
Graphic Allegations and a Decade-Old Accusation Resurfaces

Another accuser, who was underage at the time, described a disturbing encounter where Leto allegedly exposed himself and forced her hand onto him. “He leaned in and said, ‘I want you to spit on it,’” she recounted.
Meanwhile, Los Angeles DJ and producer Allie Teilz recently resurfaced a 2012 Facebook post in which she wrote, “You’re not really in L.A. until Jared Leto tries to force himself on you backstage… in a kilt… and a snow hat.” On Instagram last month, Teilz elaborated, calling Leto a “predatory creep” who assaulted her when she was 17.
Leto’s Denial and the Fallout
Leto’s representatives have vehemently denied all allegations, calling them “demonstrably false.” Shortly after the report’s release, the actor issued a blanket denial of the claims, stating through his team, “All of the allegations are expressly denied.”
Yet, as more women step forward, the mounting accusations paint a troubling picture of a Hollywood star whose off-screen behavior may now overshadow his on-screen accolades.
The question remains: Will these allegations prompt a broader reckoning—or will they be dismissed as another chapter in Hollywood’s long history of unchecked power?
